Champaign has a number of downtown attractions whose accessibility is being enhanced by the current revitalization project. The former pedestrian zone is still very welcoming to wheelchair users, and the newly renovated City Building is worth a visit. The Virginia Theater and the Campustown district are all worth exploring, and many of Champaign’s 58 parks are wheelchair friendly.
