You will be able to play modified golf at one of the five golf courses in the area, and the Bethpage State Park has some wheelchair accessible trails. The central downtown area has navigable sidewalks and a number of historical boutiques for local shopping. Made over from a school, the Island Trees Library is also worth a visit.
