When visiting Akron, you will want to take in some of the city’s finest attractions, most of which are very handicapped accessible. Quaker Square offers shopping and art in the attractive downtown district, while Highland Square is the heart of the theater district. The parks near the Ohio and Erie Canals have some nice paths with good city views. Sports lovers will want to visit Canal Park stadium for baseball and Derby Downs for racing.
